Â鶹ֱ²¥ Society of Physics Students

SPS Sigma
The Â鶹ֱ²¥ Society of  Physics  Students, on Facebook.

The Â鶹ֱ²¥ Society of Physics Students (SPS) is the student chapter of the American Institute of Physics (). The AIP envisions seven roles SPS has within the physics community. The Â鶹ֱ²¥ SPS chapter exists to provide information and services to the members of the Â鶹ֱ²¥ community who are interested in physics. The Â鶹ֱ²¥ SPS also exists to build a sense of community between students and faculty. We want the physics major to be more than just a collection of classes taken over the course of four years. The name Society of Physics Students is a misnomer, SPS encourages the participation of anyone interested in physics regardless of their major.
